A year of camping as a little family
A Wedding in West Melbourne
Well, it has been a very, very long time since I made a blog post! I have quite a few sessions and stories to share, so hopefully, this will become an exciting place 😅
For me, last year started with a wedding! Rob and Julia had to postpone their wedding multiple times, including because of COVID. The day finally came with perfect weather and many smiling faces. The celebration took place at Seasons 5 in Point Cook.
Julia was getting ready when I arrived. She was probably the most laid-back bride I have ever photographed, but she did have two dresses! She also made some of the decorations herself.
The sun was setting behind the happy couple as they said their vows in front of family and friends. Rob and Julia both have grown kids, who stood with them and witnessed. Because air travel was still limited, some of their family joined from overseas via video call!
The reception included a lovely acoustic singer, a little bit of dancing, and lots of food and drinks. And probably the funniest groom's speech I've ever heard. It was a lovely night.
Thanks to Rob and Julia for allowing me to be part of your special day! I wish you continued happiness and a marriage full of laughter.
Rob has the best sense of humour and is constantly making jokes, which I think fits perfectly with Julia who seems to love to laugh. There was so much laughter at this wedding! And so many dirty jokes that I can't repeat here!
I always include a slideshow of my favourite images in my wedding photography packages. Enjoy!
A Day-in-the-Life in Melbourne
I have shared quite a few photos of this family over the past few years. It has been so fun to get to know them and watch the boys grow. This family believes in documentary photography and I am so lucky to be welcomed into their lives. They recently moved back to America (which I am super sad about) and before they left, they wanted to get some last photos in the city. So we had a wonderful day-in-the-life session on a sunny day in Melbourne. We took a Go Boat up and down the Yarra River, grabbed some pizza at Sal's, and got lost at Federation Square.
A trip to the zoo
Before Melbourne lockdown #5 (or 6?), we went to the Melbourne Zoo, and I made a little film. In honour of the zoos reopening yesterday, I thought I’d finally share it! We love visiting the animals.
We actually went to Werribee zoo yesterday, wasting no time in using our Zoo membership! Maybe in another post I’ll share photos from that trip :)
Introducing Family Films
Hello everyone! It’s been a minute since I’ve shared much online and on social media. This past year, the first year of my daughter’s life, has been crazy but amazing. I have been learning to make films, which I hope to offer to families in the near future. Here are some of my most recent (personal) creations! I hope you enjoy!
